RAISE

RAISE is a mobile experience that allows users to nurture extinct species in Augmented Reality. Transforming people’s homes into virtual sanctuaries for extinct animals, the app feeds on live data (location, time, and weather) to generate responsive animal behaviors for users to interact with. Any in-app purchases made to feed and raise the virtual animals will directly fund conservation initiatives for endangered species in need. The poignant twist comes when users discover at the end that the animals they have raised are all extinct species. This serves as a reminder of the fragility of biodiversity and the urgent need to protect the species that still exist.
